Stockton Beautiful is partnering with the City of Stockton Public Works to restore and repair the median south of the Calaveras River. Stockton Beautiful has provided landscape design and consultation for the project and will help fund its costs. The University of the Pacific has also supported fundraising for this effort, and we thank them for their contribution.
As part of the project, Public Works will inspect the irrigation system and repair any issues found. Crews will remove dead tree stumps, replant missing trees, replace dead plant material, add new mulch, and repair and reinforce the median fencing. A missing streetlight in the area will be replaced to improve safety.
