Public Relations for the Stockton Rose Garden Tour, taking place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. This beloved spring tradition invites the community to enjoy a leisurely day exploring some of Stockton’s most beautiful rose gardens while celebrating horticulture, collaboration, and city pride.  Guests will stroll through five unique garden locations featuring refreshments, live music, and floral demonstrations. The tour offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty and diversity of Stockton’s gardens while supporting local horticulture education and community beautification efforts.&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;li&gt;Faye Fotini Spanos Rose Garden at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church - 920 W March Lane&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Gerry Dunlap Rose Garden at the Haggin Museum - 1201 N Pershing Avenue&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;The Rose Garden at Knoles Lawn, University of the Pacific - Pacific Avenue &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Guests may visit the gardens in any order and will be entered into a drawing. Attendees are encouraged to wear a favorite hat and enjoy the festive spring atmosphere.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tickets  &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;$25 per person (cash or check payable to the Stockton Garden Club) &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Proceeds support scholarships for Delta College Horticulture students, helping cultivate the next generation of landscape and horticulture professionals. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hosted by First Lady Jean Callahan, the event promises a memorable experience in a beautiful setting surrounded by music and friends committed to keeping Stockton beautiful.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The new plantings will be dedicated in honor of Tod Ruhstaller who recently retired after 39 years as curator and CEO at the Museum. The plantings emphasize low water use and decorative effects from foliage as well as flower color.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The plant palette includes a multi-trunk Mediterranean Fan Palm, Sago Palms, Canna Lilies, Drift Roses, Storm Cloud Agapanthus, Brakelights Red Yucca, Flirt Nandina, Red Hot Poker, and Mystic Spires Salvia.&lt;br /&gt;

Stockton Beautiful is excited to complete this beautification project after several years of planning and fund raising following our last significant project: the renovation of the Weber Avenue median in 2019.&lt;/p&gt;
